The General Union of Palestinian Journalists in Britain participated in a meeting that discussed the Palestinian-Israeli conflict at the Colombian Consulate in London, in the presence of the Colombian Consul General in Britain, Professor Ilan Pappé, former member of the Israeli Knesset and defender of the rights of the Palestinian people, and Dr. Victor de Currea-Lugo, a lecturer at Columbia University.

The meeting included several speeches. The Union’s speech was presented by Dr. Mamdouh Jabr, former Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine and former Palestinian Ambassador to Colombia, and academic Dr. Ibrahim Asalieh. The meeting was also attended by the media figure Samah Hamdan, media figure Salam Zaytoone, and the distinguished media figure Abdul Salam Aql from the Union.
